A heart attack claimed the life of a foreign truck driver headed to Tutong District on Sunday.
The 46-year-old lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a road divider at KM61.8 near Kampong Bukit Beruang.
He is believed to have been travelling from Belait District.
According to Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), a report was lodged at Tutong Police Station around 8.30am.
The victim was rushed to Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah (PMMPMHAMB) Hospital in Tutong, where he was pronounced dead.
Initial investigations revealed the man suffered a heart attack while behind the wheel, resulting in the accident. Investigations are ongoing.
